It’s hard to deny the styling ease of a good jumpsuit.. So, it was no surprise when everybody’s favorite one-piece had a major resurgence in 2018. The style that reached peak popularity in the disco era returned for good reason; jumpsuits are flattering, versatile, and easy. The convenience of skipping separates and throwing on a suit takes the guessing game out of matching, something that anyone with places to be can (and should) benefit from. Like any trends, we’re predicting an update for this year’s jumpsuit moment - here’s what you can expect.
Make it a catsuit
Jumpsuits of season past have trended toward light materials and free-flowing shapes. So far in 2022, we’ve seen the look tighten up into a catsuit.
Go for bright colors
Jumpsuits make it really easy to incorporate bold colors in your wardrobe. Since you don’t have to worry about matching two pieces, there’s no reason to shy away from a fierce orange or hot pink.
Take a utilitarian approach
One jumpsuit trend that we think we’ll be seeing more of is actually menswear inspired. Take this Prada look that Kim Kardashian sported at Milan Fashion Week.
