Few things bring joy and have the overall mood lifting effect of freshly coifed hair, especially when the season changes. When the leaves start changing colors we know it’s time to break out the blazers and boots, but the fluctuating leaf colors also serve as inspiration for new hair colors. For many of us, the season of changes means adjusting your sun bleached strands to the richer and deep hues of fall. However, much like the rest of this year, this fall is different and the rules of color have changed. Sure we’re still coveting favorites like glossy brunettes but bold styles circa the 90’s and early 2000’s era are tending and showing much promise. Whether it’s all over tonal, face framing highlights or subtle low-lights, a fresh seasonal tint is just the thing to brighten your Zoom meeting/hangout days. Here we’ve gathered  some of our favorite autumn-inspired hues to get you excited for the season.

Burnt Tangerine
Not quite red, not quite ginger, this look is bright without feeling too loud. Of course, go totally orange if you’re feeling it--it’s surprisingly adaptable for all skin tones!

Honey Blonde
This seasons’ blonde is as warm as it is golden. It’s classically sophisticated and perfect for the cooler months. Go for all over color or bold highlights  if you want to add some contrast.

Money Piece Highlights
Named and loved for its face framing look, this admiring style from the early 2000’s is making a major comeback this year. The technique of highlighting the strands in the front hairline lifts your complexion and accentuates your facial best facial features. While most styles use blond, you can opt for a shade 2 notches lighter than your overall color.

Soft black
Softer shades of black, like ash or off black lends a mysterious twist to the classic hair color, and reminds us of those crisp evenings under the stars. Go for subtle low-lights in a slightly darker hue to add a bit of texture and contrast

Scarlet Red
How can we mention Fall without red? This sanguine shade never goes out of style. Add it to just the tips of your hair for a freshly dipped dose of color.
